Fresh for Spring 2016: Home Decor Edition

Spring. It’s fresh. It’s bright. It’s fun. It’s your last chance to decorate/ organize/ redo before summer rolls around and you call it quits until the fall. At the same time, it’s also a super busy season. There’s spring break, followed by Easter, and then a final push to finish up the school year. Is there even time to obsess over home decor?

Instead of stressing out over having the most spruced-up house on the block, try infusing a few simple design changes. You don’t need to paint a wall or replace every area rug. Focus your home decor updates on easy swaps— like throw pillows, display towels, and lamp shades. Also, go for changes that will still feel fresh and relevant in a few months, when the summer sun has us staying indoors even more.

By making smaller changes, you can save your time and energy for a weekend dedicated to spring cleaning (what to do with that baby gear you don’t need) or creating a super sweet Easter feast (get your free Easter printables here!).

On a final note…  these floral-print coasters are so pretty. And we have a genius way to get kids involved in spring cleaning.

Happy Spring! What are your simple home decor ideas for the season?
