Sign up is now open for our Kids Crafts with Connie coming up Saturday, February 24th! This class is for ages 4 – 7 and the fee is $5. Kids will decorate and make an adorable ‘Rainy Day Mug’ piece with the help of some creative imagination and with the guidance of instructor Connie Lopez. This craft will be a mixed media of oil pastels & watercolor paints so it might be a tad messy, but tons of fun! Creativity can be messy, but it is as natural as Sunshine, and as vital as nourishment. In this craft class Art teacher Connie Lopez offers a step-by-step arts and craft lesson that helps inspire the artist in every child. For more info & to see a sample of the craft kids will be creating follow the link to the Facebook event here: https://www.facebook.com/events/185865858834511/

The depth of winter is the time for star stories. In I Reach For The Stars, children see a painted story about the creative power of a star. When we feel this ‘sun power’ in ourselves we can also shed light into the world through the beauty of our artistic creations. After the story, the children will paint two water color pictures in which they are reaching for and finding their stars.
