Spring Young Adventurer Days (IMAS)

Young Adventurer: Early Childhood Days are workshops that help introduce young scientists and artists to basic concepts. Each workshop features a special themed story time with an exciting hands-on activity. Programs last approximately 30-45 minutes. For children ages 5 or younger. Registration required.

February 6
Paint Away: Let your imagination run wild as we read “The Artist Who Painted the Blue Horse” by Eric Carle. Paint your own animal using an array of colors with your fingers!

March 6
Sky High: Soar into the atmosphere as we read “Sky” by Ariane Dewey. Learn all about clouds, create a rainbow, and play with instant snow!

April 3
K is for Kite: Join us as we read “Kite Day” by Will Hillenbrand. Design your own kite to take out and fly on a windy day!

May 1
Buzzing Bugs: Explore the buzzing world of bugs as we read “Bugs Galore” by Peter Stein. View the bugs on display at the museum and sculpt your own bug to take home.
