The City of South Padre Island Parks and Recreation will host its annual Fourth of July Beach Parade for the community and visitors. Friends of Animals will start the parade. At the end, watermelon, bottled water, and other goodies will be given out while supplies last.
The parade will begin at beach access #20 at East Georgia Ruth Drive and end at access #17 at East Mars Lane. Line up begins at 9:30 a.m. with the parade starting at 10 a.m.

A special Fireworks Over the Bay for Fourth of July will take place at Louie’s Backyard at 9:15 p.m.
