Well it finally looks like the weather is cooling down to sweater-wearing temperatures and you can bet your toasty little toes that I have a nifty little craft up my fleece-lined sleeve 😉 I saved the best jar craft for last. Anyone a fan of cocoa? This one will have you sharing and cozying up with your family and friends and warming even the coolest of hearts 🙂 Enjoy!
You will need:
- A glass Mason jar
- Hot cocoa mix
- Orange and black acrylic paint
- Paint brush
First, you will want to wash the jar out and dry it thoroughly.
Next, paint on little black eyes, an orange triangular nose and a coal-like smile.
While the jar is drying you can paint the lid black and set aside to dry.
Once the jar is dry, place the hot chocolate packet inside the jar and fill with marshmallows. Your little ones will surely make good little helpers 😉
Close the lid and voila, you have a lovely, thoughtful, and useful jar treat that will bring a smile to everyone’s face this fine holiday season. Just add water or milk to the hot chocolate mix inside the jar, pop in a couple of marshmallows and let it snow (even if it’s only in your mind) and have some cocoa 🙂
