If you haven’t heard, a new Chick-Fil-A is coming to the RGV and it’s pretty spectacular. Nestled in between Costco, At Home, and Krispy Kreme, this newest location has a prime spot right off of Jackson Road and Expressway 83 in Pharr, Texas. Chick-Fil-A Pharr First 100
With every Chick-Fil-A celebration comes a unique tradition to treat the community as a special hello and thank you. Have you ever heard of the First 100? For 24 hours preceding a grand opening (which in this case is December 10th) community members within nearby zip codes are invited to camp out and enter the First 100 contest. The prize is 52 Chick-Fil-A meals, one for every week of the year!
Chick-Fil-A Pharr will begin their First 100 contest at 6:00 AM on Wednesday, December 9, 2016, and announce winners on Thursday, December 10, 2016, at 6:00 AM. Scroll down for a great video all about the First 100.

Double-Lane Drive-Thru with Distance
We’ve been to a number of Chick-Fil-A drive-thru lanes before and after having kids, and this one takes the cake. Not only are the lanes the longest I have witnessed, but they also circumnavigate the parking lot. That’s right. The entire length of the drive-thru lane wraps AROUND the parking lot. Your lane will never cross pedestrian traffic, making it safer for everyone! Love it.

The Gigantic Parking Lot
Speaking of parking lots, it is big. At peak times, Chick-Fil-A restaurants get pretty busy, but their service is always so swift. This location has lots of extra space and a huge parking lot to accommodate everyone comfortably. Add to that an extremely polite and efficient staff with delicious chicken and it’s win-win.
The Playspace
The kids are going to love this. So are the moms! I foresee many playdates and meet-ups at this location because there is so much extra room for the kids to run around and play. The Interior
I’m a sucker for beautiful interior design, and the thought and detail that was put into the design of Chick-Fil-A Pharr is something special. Take the central eating table, for example. This plaque tells the story of love and grace. Artisans from A Better Way Ministries who “once felt unwanted and abandoned” created this table from salvages of abandoned homes.
An homage to Georgia and Coca-Cola are organically incorporated into the decor with the repurposed bottles and peach basket.
The Patio
We sometimes forget how lucky we are to live in a geographic location with t-shirt weather almost all year long. You have the option of eating inside in a/c or outside on the patio at Chick-Fil-A Pharr. Moms are usually thinking in terms of security for the kids, so you’ll be happy to know that there is only one way in and out towards the parking lot.
