Happy Autumn y’all! Once again, it’s pumpkin patch season!


2015 Pumpkin Patches in the RGV

If you are looking to purchase some pumpkins in the RGV or simply just take some fun fall photos of your kids, a pumpkin patch is a great place for that! (Here are some great tips on photographing your kids.)

Here are some locations that have now or will soon have a pumpkin patch open to the public.

RGV Pumpkin Patches 2015

  1.  St. Mark United Methodist Church on 301 Pecan Blvd. (corner of Pecan and 2nd St.) in McAllen.
    October 4-30
      Hours are from 12pm-8pm Mon-Fri, 10am-8pm Sat, and 1pm-8pm Sun. Huge selection of pumpkins, plus a photo op and background for kids and families. There will be toddler story time/craft time on Saturdays at 11am.
  2. First United Methodist Church on 3707 W. University Dr. (corner of University and Mon Mack) in Edinburg. 
    September 27th – Oct 30 –  Hours are from 3pm- 8pm Mon-Fri, 12PM- 8 PM Sat and Sun.
  3. First United Methodist Church on 321 E. Harrison Ave in Harlingen.
    October 17-Oct 31 –
       Hours are from 8:30am-12:30pm then 3pm-8pm Mon-Fri,  8:30am- 8pm Sat, and 12:30pm-8pm Sun.
  4. First United Methodist Church on 1225 Boca Chica Blvd. in Brownsville.
    Opens Oct 10 –
     (Hours are pending)
  5. Canterbury Elementary PTO’s 3rd Annual Pumpkin Patch on 2821 W. Canton.
    October 9 from  4-7:30. Join them for a family and community event!
