Coffee Date with RGV Moms 

Tuesday, Nov. 7, 9 – 11 am

MoonBeans Coffee (McAllen) • 5401 N. 10th Street, Suite 102

Join us for our next Coffee Date of the school year! Get out and mingle with some moms, bring the kids, have a cup of joe, and gather. MoonBeans will treat our moms to a small cup of coffee or give them some love and try their specialty drinks and delicious food. We will also have a special guest joining us at this Coffee Date! Can you guess who it will be? Details coming soon!

Covenant Christian Colonial Holiday Festival

Friday, Nov. 10, 5:30 – 10:00 p.m.

Covenant Christian Academy (McAllen) • 4201 N. Ware Rd.

 

This will be a memorable time as we share with the community a glimpse of our American heritage. Our campus will be transformed into an early colonial township where visitors may enjoy the nostalgia in a school house. Our American heritage lives on through this magical event!
Battle Reenactment in field at 5:30-6pm
Colonial Grounds open 6-9pm
Carnival rides and food open 6-10pm

*All students and staff will be dressed for the time period and reenacting their part.

Buckets of Fun at Quinta Mazatlan

Every Thursday, 10:00 – 11:00 am

Preschool children and their parents will have BUCKETS OF FUN with hands-on, nature-inspired lessons filled with song, discovery, socializing, movement and exploration! Adults and children must dress for outdoor activities. Date: Thursdays Time: 10:00- 11:00 am Fee: $3 program fee per child. (Adults: $3 regular admission; $2 seniors, Large groups, please register in advance).

 

Mozart and Me Music Class

Fridays in October and November at 10:00 – 10:45 am

Quinta Mazatlan, McAllen

Share in the joy of music-making and learning how your child is developing, all while strengthening your relationship with your child. Taught by Dr. Diana Seitz, Professor of Music at UTRGV.

Date: Fridays in October & November (October 6, 13, 20, & 27- November 3, 10, & 17)
Time: 10:00- 10:45 am
Fee: $50 for all 7 classes or $10 per class.
Materials: Fees includes materials and one accompanying adult/chaperone.

Smokin’Hwy 100 Cook-off & Festival

All Saints 5K Color Run

Saint Martin De Porres School • 901 N. TX Blvd, Weslaco, TX

San Martin de Porres welcomes you to join us as we run, walk, and jog while raising funds for our school! This fun run/walk is open to EVERYONE in the community and we hope to see you there!
