5 Teacher Gifts Under $20 with printables They are guaranteed to love! :: RGV Moms BlogThe holidays are quickly approaching and I always find myself stressing at the last minute over what teacher gifts to get my boys’ teachers. I’m a firm believer in making sure they know just how appreciative we are for all that they do not only for my two but for everyone else’s kiddos, too. It’s a tough job and I know that by Christmas break they are tired and look forward to resting and quite honestly it seems like they’ve been teaching a whole year by then! Here are some ideas that I hope will save you some time and money, enjoy! [More on saving time and money with mobile apps in this article, too!]

Alablanca-Tee-Final-600x6001. Holiday Attire

What teacher does not need a festive holiday shirt to wear the week before Christmas break? Take a quick trip to local boutiques and shops and find a perfect tee just for them. A lot of local graphic tee designers also sell these novel-tees online (sometimes for free) or offer local pickup! #Shoplocal and #shoprgv this year and support a mom, dad, or budding small business with your teacher gifts. Here’s a free printable that fits this gift to a “tee!”

2. Gift Cards

gift cardsNot sure there is a teacher out there who doesn’t enjoy a gift card or two. Anything from Applebee’s to Starbucks is sure to bring a smile to their face. Could also help them get through all the errands they try to get accomplished during their time off. I know stores like Walgreens and CVS have an array to choose from but keep in mind that many restaurants offer “bonus” cards when you purchase a certain amount of gift cards straight from them. If you have membership at places like Costco, you can even purchase these cards at a discount. Slap one of these tags on there and you’re all set!

wash3. Hand Soaps/Sanitizer

I love hand soaps and sanitizers and so do teachers! In fact while writing this post I asked a teacher what she thought of them and her response was “They are awesome, I have enough stocked up at home from gifts that I’ve received to last us for a while!” So see they love and use them! This time of year Bath and Body Works have great deals on them and you could probably snag enough up for a few teachers for under $20. Add some cute ribbon and one of these and you have a cute and frugal gift!

socks4. Warm & Pretty Mistle-Toes

This is my go to gift this year for my boys’ teachers, babysitters and friends. In fact after I posted this on Facebook I got so many messages asking where to find the tag! This is such a quick, easy and fun gift. Start with a set of nail polishes. I picked up mine at Walgreens, 14 in all for under $10! You can also find some at TJ-Maxx and Marshalls. Then find some cute and cozy socks which nowadays are in stores everywhere. I added a cute travel size file, found some cute bags and tied it all up with some ribbon and this tag. Viola all done!

journals5. Stylish Notebooks

Notebooks are quite popular with teachers. They are always looking for something to take notes on and these are fabulous and will get the job done! Lots of local shops carry notebooks for under $20 from the cutest brands. You can also pick these up at Target for $5.99 or try Marshalls for some nice ones as well. Add some cute pens or pencils and you are all set. Although these tags aren’t too Christmas-y I think they are adorable and would work just fine.
