Being a stay-at-home mom is great, but sometimes we need to get out with our little ones and have some fun.  I’ve done some research and found a few things going on this week.  Maybe you and your little one(s) can take some time for one of these events this week.

Toddler Time at the Dustin Sekula Memorial Library

What: Designed for children 18-36 months.  Toddler TIme include finger-plays and short stories.  The theme this week is “Oodles for Noodles” and each child will construct their own macaroni necklace.

Baby-Size at the McAllen Public Library

What: A program designed for babies 0-13 months (crawlers) and their parent or caregiver.  This program incorporates songs, movement, and play.

When: 2:00 – 2:25pm

Reading Recess (Back to School)

What: Come and get ready for school with this nifty craft.

Guys’ Night Out at McAllen Public Library

What: Fathers and sons are invited to enjoy a book reading and discussion by author Jesse Garza.  All ages welcome.
